Well, I think its a well executed piece but I'm not American so I find the symbolism in it a little melodramatic. Blood and fire is necessary to maintain the Empire that the US stole from Britain. If the USA is too squeamish for these things then it should stop with the "We're number 1" nonsense and just bend over for China.Do one about how you think the situation should be. Appeal to the higher ideals - justice, strength and honour - then I think I would like it better.

Moral of the story - trying to take the lazy way out of cleaning up the environment (planting trees out of some sort of act of penenace) could create an even bigger problem..

While this is truly awesome, it's the first I'd heard about this thing's military focus - other articles have been 'big lasers, cool!' - seems kinda sucky they have to have a military reason to do this. One would think bountiful energy and the advancement of mankind were reason enough.
