I disagree with your assessment.Jesus did not teach us that government is the solution to our problems. He commanded members of the church to help the needy, both the sick and poor. It is the church that should be helping, not the government. We have been given free will to do as we please, and should not force others to do what they do not believe in. Having a government plan forces everyone to pay into a program they may not believe in.Again, Jesus WAS for helping out those in need. I just do not believe that universal healthcare is what he had in mind.
When he makes a bomb...it's really a bomb...but all in all he has an amazing body of work, and he's still young. "Man on the Moon" should have gotten him at least an Oscar nod. And he might have upset people with the "Green Our Vaccines" drive...but he also spoke out to draw attention to Aung San Suu Kyi in Myanmar. With everything taken into consideration, he's a pretty positive role model.

Absolutely disgusting. I was very well familiar with the fact that bigots and anti-semites alike tended to gravitate toward the fringe right-wing/libertarian segment of the political spectrum (the demographic of these "tea parties"), but to see them openly flaunt these kinds of putrid utterances ("hollowcost") still makes my blood boil.?
Here's an idea : Stop making it cheaper for people to buy more than they need. When 1 hamburger costs $3 but 2 hamburgers costs $4, naturally people are going to buy 2. Make the cost of your food equal and don't over charge for the smaller portion.As this is a MAJOR source of profits for the greeders, I seriously doubt anyone of consequence will listen, but I wanted to say it anyway.

The Roman Catholic Church took Pagan traditions to convince the Germanic people to convert. That's why I laugh at the bumper stickers that say "keep Christ in Christmas". I want to make a bumper sticker that says "keep Germanic Paganism in Christmas"
