A properly run HOA is a good thing. The problem is belong to an overly mature HOA.I liken it to the government. It starts out well. But, before you know it, they created all kinds of arbitrary rules stemming from personal vendettas between feuding neighbors and everyone is forced to live in a prison state.The only choices at that point is moving or ousting the HOA and forming a new one.
