I think the stigma about mental health treatment in this country is a serious detriment to the treatment of postpartum depression. We're so conditioned to believe that we are always fully in control of how we feel at all times. So many women suffering from it feel as if they're somehow personally to blame, as if it is an indicator that they are horrible people for even having these thoughts. The fact is, though, that giving birth results in an incredible hormonal shift, and it's therefore not surprising in the least that one's brain chemistry might be thrown out of whack by the whole experience. I know people are all hung up on that we treat all psychological problems as simple chemical issues which can be quickly fixed by drugs, but in the case of postpartum depression, it's hard to deny that chemistry is the primary culprit here. I mean, if someone took a big hit of heroin, for example, no one would say that his change in behavior was all mental, and that if he really wanted to, he could act normally even under the influence of the drug. And yet, the process of giving birth results in huge surges of certain hormones and huge drops in others, and yet we attribute the resulting changes to be all mental, all completely unrelated to biology. `?
The one nice thing about the same ads over and over is that it becomes easier to ignore them. I don't even see them anymore.

it would take ten 22 episode seasons of 42 minute programming to equal 150 hours. so any half hour sitcom would have to be running for 20 years, like the simpsons and considering mini series are called mini, i doubt 5 days of 2 hours equals anywhere near 150 hours, but someone should check the math for me.

I don't believe this for even a second. Saudi Arabia, the largest producer, would never disclose what its reserves are. And if they'll give a number, rest assured that it's fake. Russia, also, would not disclose its energy reserves, as a state secret. Why would they, under what obligation? What do they have to gain?On the other hand, if they underestimate their reserves, indeed, the world would panic and the price will spike, which is in their interest. The price of crude is already moving higher, and I imagine it will hit $150 next year. The Saudis are sitting on a lot of oil, and easy to develop fields, but dumping all that oil on the market will dampen the price and make the other OPEC countries very angry.
