If Jesus himself came down in a flying saucer and told them just how misguided, toxic and dangerous their behavior and beliefs are, they'd dismiss him completely and call him a traitor. "What would your father say if he saw you like this, Jesus?"These people are hardcore old testament fire-and-brimstone weirdos. They should all be shipped off to Siberia.

I think we should consult the Queen Spider. The highest authority.?
I bought my gamecube years after it first came out. It was 50 bucks lightly used, and that was probably 5 years ago or more. The only reason I bought it was because I wanted to play Windwaker, and I saw they also had made Gamecube ports of several other zelda games, OOT, Majora's Mask, Zelda 1 and 2. I think the only other gamecube game I ever bought was Super Smash Bros Melee. It was entirely worth the 50 dollar purchase for Windwaker alone. It was nice to have a chance to finally finish Majora's Mask, though. I played that on N64 but got distracted and never finished it. |

Eddie, I agree that it appears to belittle human existence, or our sense of self-importance. But I think, in the context of Sagan's work, particularly in Cosmos, he tempered this sense of existential hopelessness with a message of conservation. Time and again, he warned of nuclear holocaust and spoke of how precious life is on Earth. Therefore, he both gave a sense of scale, to humble us, and a sense of purpose, to inspire us to protect our "pale blue dot."

Apple needs to come up with an electronic device called the iLie. You enter your problem and instantly a lie is produced. Of course nobody would be caught dead with one, so they're cleverly disguised according to your unique wishes. |
