Actually it's quite the opposite. The 360 has a chip dedicated to scaling and anti-aliasing for titles that don't run at 1080p, while others support it natively. The PS3 on the other hand has a very very VERY low percentage of games that run natively at 1080p, because the GPU can't handle it.
