This is just like a book I read by Ray Bradbury. I think it was Martian chronicles.
Damn- my ***** factory job got outsourced! Why can't America be like it was in the 1800's when all the work was 100% American. I wish our country was full of American steel workers and coal miners with lung cancer instead of creating new innovative job markets and leading the world in technology. It's like we don't understand the game any more- or maybe we just can't compete.

if i understand your point correctly, wouldn't you end up having, say 5 copies of openssl libraries on your system after installing dovecot, ssh, apache, joe's small app, etc? then what happens if there is a security issue with ssl? you can't just patch the system library because you have all these other applications using their own ones. it would be a security and administrative nightmare.?
you can easily get r4 software that is continuously updated.
Tiptup300 is right. It's been over 10 years since the N64 came out and emulation for it still isn't perfect. The emulator makers have mastered everything up to SNES and Genesis but everything after is spotty.N64 and PS1 are still very glitchy (Saturn is non-existent) and PS2 and newer just isn't there yet. It must be much tougher to emulate polygon-capable systems.
